I'm looking to part from my trusty friend of 4 years, this "entry-level" zoom lens giving 150-500mm at F5-6.3, with HSM quiet autofocus and Optical Stabilisation (OS, Sigma's version of VR).
The optics are in perfect condition, and the autofocus and OS working fine. There are some superficial wear marks on the metallic lens body.

It is fitted with a Marumi 86mm UV filter (worth £43) as well as the original Sigma lens hood, and front and rear caps.
Also comes complete with the substantial Sigma carrying case which is too bulky for use in the field, but great for keeping it safe at home.

Reason for sale is a recent upgrade.

Nobody would realistically claim that this lens will compete with a prime lens or a high end zoom, but I have enjoyed using it and learning the ropes of wildlife photography with it.
