A bracing walk late morning 11.00 - 12.15

Nothing on the reservoir but at least 12 Lapwing and 2 Curlew in adjoining fields. Low-key display from both species.

Walked across the moor to Little Black Moss Resr (3 Canada Geese, in Gtr. Manchester) and Black Moss Resr (pair of Goldeneye, in Yorks). Walked back to Brun Clough on the Pennine Way and didn't see or hear a single bird!
