Great news.

Presumably one of the 2 long staying females.

A lone female Goosander was further downstream at Chorlton at 6pm yesterday. The drake was nr Chorlton Water Park on Sunday. I was beginning to think the nest had been predated.

Nick Scarle had a female Goosander with 5 chicks on the river at Millgate Fields yesterday.
