RE: Manchester Birding website downtime 6th April 2009

Apologies for the lack of updates on the Manchester Birding website, obviously my move wasn't exactly seamless and I am currently unable to update. The problem is practically sorted so the big update waiting to be published we be there soon. I wasn't just being lazy afterall

Just to let you know that tomorrow, the 6th April 2009, the Manchester Birding website is being migrated to a new Windows 2008 hosting platform (no, I've no idea what that is either). It will, apparently, enable the forum to have exiting new features and allow for better performance and reliability. Don't hold your breath whilst looking for them though

Basically this means that the website will be down for any amount of time (not specified) on the 6th. It will be back up and running asap, although God only knows what type of problems it will cause me and my technically inefficient brain!
