Stuart,

We will go up again very soon and are planning to walk the woods below Dovestones. Is there any good spots for Owls within the area?

A pretty quiet day on the birding scence Sunday 25th January. (The large number of walkers and general public can't of helped)
Two Dippers seen at the feeder stream at the top end of the resevoir. A couple of Stonechats. Several Mallards M & F. Blue, Coal and Great Tits a plenty on the east banks as a flock of Fieldfares.

A first visit to the area for Janice and myself. Prob not the best time of the year so any advice from fellow members would be nice when to go again.
