RE: South Manchester Crimson Rosella's

Plagarism. Two different reporters, large chunks of identical text.

It's not plagarism, its repetition, what do you expect with a parrot storybiggrin.gif

Excellent news that one less job for me. They still have to catch them, and that is not easy! even with a big net!

keep watching the wild ones.

Paul,

You could throw a bin bag over the roost tree and catch them!

They have found fame, with a half page donated to them in yesterdays local rag, the South Manchester Reporter. Whats more they've been given names, Larry, Curley and Moe - The Three Stooges, though how you tell which one is which is anybodys guess (there isn't a bald fat one that keeps slapping it's face as far as I can see biggrin.gif). Apparantley the RSPB and the RSPCA have been contacted and a local bloke's thinking of trying to catch them & keep them safe until the owners can be traced. Time for Rob and Mr Heaton to link up perhaps.

Saw them again tonight, believe it or not they are roosting in a garden 2 feet up a 3 foot cypressus!

Got some record shots that I'll send to Ian.

Can't be long before they link up with the nearby Ring-necked/Amazon group.

South Manchester parrot explosion continues with 3 (I think adult male) Crimson Rosella's in Whalley Range.

Caught up with them on the way home from work tonight, regretably without my camera - they are truly stunning.
