just because i,ve been asked abram flashes seem a bit disjointed on the a to z but here goes from left to right starting at plank lane as you walk down the canal lightshaw is first page 106 4b then dover basin 106 3a then past the dover lock pub coffin brook 105 1j next is glovers pool (directly opposite the canal/hey brook aquaduct)and not on the a to z then lastly bamfurlong pool 83 7j which is sadly very overgrown and can easily be overlooked.a full species list and history can be found in the 2005 county report (if you can find one) a scope and some luck can result in very good birding at this SSSI site
