The white van or portable hide had been in the area, but nothing is known re escaped bird, but thanks for the info, gives me an excuse to spend some time there, nice site, but a long walk down to rangers hut. keep birding
1 x Scarlet Macaw frequenting gardens and Millenium Nature reserve. Picture not too clear although personally the bird pictured is either a Lorikeet or Rosella.
Not looked in detail apparently pictures are on Urmston.net, can't find them though.
May investigate aea during next week. Although I have seen a certain white van in area a few weeks back..
