Hi Ian The Egret flew across Liverpool Rd btw Strangeways Pub and the speed camera at approx 2:00 in a westerly direction saw it for about 5 to 10 secs at most but with driving and trying not to crash at the time could not pick out any details at all.
By the time i could park up it was nowhere to be seen so contacted the Pie Eaters to see if anyone was in the area as it was Ian Woosey and Judith had a look at Amberswood but to no avail not for want of trying i might add,
Just wish i was walking and not driving at the time.
So will have to go down as Egret Sp.
Cheers Jimmy

Jimmy Meadows had an egret sp. (not identified beyond that as he was driving at the time) over Liverpool Road, heading west towards Amberswood at around 2pm today. A subsequent search of Amberswood Lake could not refind the bird.
