Spotted from our Front window this lunchtime and had been about most of the morning. A pair of GSW in obvious courtship bobbing and dancing about on branches and chasing each other about The Grove and the bushes and trees of Williamm Wroe from 16th Green to back of 17th tee.
1 yellow wagtail this am mooching around our garden this morning
Yellow Wagtail Steve? They are unheard of in the UK in winter, so this would be especially intruiging if it is?
Although Grey is more likely a Yellow Wagtail wintered in Cornwall from 2006-2008 but not this winter, possibly an eastern race bird but in winter plumage too hard to tell.
Almost unheard of in the UK apart from a few very rare occurences of apparent wintering birds (two in the past 8 years) seen in early February

Not been on for a while, busy with work etc. Phone call this morning from her indoors. 6 Buzzards circling over our house and William Wroe G.C. this am. Most noticed around for a while, normal odd one, poss family outing ?
I don't thisnk the geese over Mosley Common at 1155 would be the same as seen at 0910hrs but a different lot? I had 36 going E over Littel Woolden Moss at 1017am today.
