75 Mute Swan, Greylag Goose, 45 Mallard, 22 Tufted Duck, 11 Goosander and Kingfisher on river croal. 12 Goldeneye river irwell and on Kearsley park, Treecreeper, 80+ Siskin.

68 Mute Swan, 40 Tufted Duck, Croal- Irwell confluence, 10 Tufted Duck, 14 Goldeneye,8 Goosander, 30 Mallard, 2 Little Grebe.

2.00pm-3.00pm yesterday (Friday) Similar counts on the lodges as the last post plus large flock of long tailed tits (at least 20+) on Kearsley park, also bullfinch and GS woodpecker.

55 Mute Swan, 200 Canada Geese, 2 Pochard, 35 Tufted Duck, male Goldeneye, 12 Goosander, Common Snipe flew over. On Kearsley Park, 100+ Siskin. 40 Goldfinch.

60 Mute Swan, 152 Canada Goose, 2 Pochard, 28 Tufted Duck, 22 Goosander, at Croal- Irwell confluence, 2 Goldeneye, Little Grebe,pair of Kestrels, also 50 Siskin at Kearsley park.
