RE: Bird Atlas

Just a note - Steve Suttill says all WeBS sightings will be input by the BTO into the atlas, so no need to enter them as RRs.(Roving Reports)

I did my first Timed Tetrad today (SJ78I) which is half Manchester/half Cheshire.

Bit of a pain counting every single bird sighting - I was getting Jackdaw fatigue in the end - 50 of them hurtling round Dunham Massey, so I'm sure some got double counted.

Nothing of interest whatsoever and the Tree Sparrows were nowhere to be seen. However that's 34 species 'in the bag'.

I'm sure you are all aware - any sightings now should be reported for the BTO bird atlas and the Manchester Bird Atlas !

I suggest you include the Tetrad alongside any sightings.

Nothing of note in SJ89N at the moment apart from Feral Pigeons cry.gif
