The Great White Egret again hunting in usual field n.e. of Greyhound roundabout and 4 Little Egrets in the triangular field just n.e. of roundabout bounded by the brook.
2 Little egret in the paddocks west of the Greyhound, 4 in the triangular field east of there and a single Great White Egret in the usual larger field just east of the brook. All c.10.qp this am.
15 Little egret in the field west of the Greyhound just before 11am this morning, 2 more in the small triangular field just east of the Greyhound and single Great White egret flew from it's usual field onto the brook here.

In the field NE of the Greyhound the two Great White Egrets were present at 2:40pm and in the fields south of Hope Carr along the A580 were two Little Egrets

Tues 6th Jan A delivery in Leigh on way back from Liverpool. 15 min tacho break needed so parked up near The Greyhound. Very active place and all seen within minutes and not far from the roadside.
