Pager reports 4 Green Sands, Ad Med Gull, 2 Ruff, 54 Avocets and young Tawny Owls near Kingfisher hide, not bad for Junesmile.gif

Hi John, Plenty of Avocets with loads of young but not very close in. Not yesterday anyway.
Marshide at Southport would probably be better for pics right in front of Sandgrounders hide.

hi dean-how are the avocets doing at the mere?do they come close enough to photograph?not been to the mere for ages,thinking of having a bash-cheers johnsmile.gif

Had 2 Wood Sandpipers(lifer) and 5 Green Sanpipers at Martin Mere todaybiggrin.gif

Also sum plum Ruff, a black speckled one not in full splendour looked like a juv from last year.
