A good morning today, the Lapwing still has 4 chicks, also 4 Whimbrel, 1 Yellow Wagtail, Peregrine, Little Ringed Plover and a Common Sandpiper.

Also today

1 Oystercatcher at Withins, an 'interesting' Blackbird with particularly pale wing panels from several angles and an usual alarm call but no white gorget, 2 sub-adult Grey Herons and a pair of Teal on the pool in the highland cattle field and a Song Thrush doing its' own 'checklist of Elton birds' song with Pheasant, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Black-headed Gull and even the Reed Warbler singing from high up in willows opposite included.
Missed a Common Whitethroat at Benny's, but like the tram home I missed at Victoria I'm sure another will be along soon biggrin

This morning, 2 adult Whooper Swans dropped in at 8am and stayed till 8.48am when they flew west due to a Mute Swan chasing them, also drake Scaup still and 115 Meadow Pipit north.
