Hi Tony
Bit of a suprise this morning when I looked up from reading Lancashire Wildlife Trust's board at the SSSI site and spotted the female Marsh Harrier low over the moss before it disappeared over Rindle Wood.

A Female Marsh Harrier flew over Rindle rd Astley Moss, moving east at 8.30am. Garden Warbler at Pennington Flash, singing ,50yds past New hide.
