Sounds about right. New area for them though, but maybe it was hunting along the banks of the Tame. In GMC, we had c14 pairs present or breeding in 2006, mainly in the west of the county. Are you related to Paul Carroll?

Barn owl seen Sunday flying low over M60 between jct 24 and 25. Around 3.30 am. I am unfamiliar with the area around those junctions - would that be close to Reddish Vale? How do we do for barn owl sightings overall?
