mist rising from horrocks and red headed smew diving for food in left hand corner with my back to canal,surprised to see it still here.Nothing unusual this morning but watched a great spotted woodpecker sunning itself at the top of a tree just past Bryn Marsh.Several chiff chaff having a good scrap pairing up,ruddy ducks also competing on Turners.Highlight was a mallard with 12 chicks on the canal, shes got her hands full.
