Andy Makin also had a Firecrest in his Hindley garden some years back. Seems like some blokes get all the luck

I've also had a Firecrest in my garden, on Valentines Day 1990 , first viewed from the 'kitchen' window of a bedsit whilst putting the kettle on!, directly opposite where I live now in Chorlton. Now that's the way to find birds!. Seems it escaped the 1990 bird report .
