Quick hour, marsh playing feilds then over to where parsonage colliery used to be, and a quick mooch down westleigh brook to westleigh park.

First swift of the year for me high over the old parsonage colliery site.
3 whitethroat
2 robin
3 chaffinch
1 blackcap
2 meadow pipit
2 swallow
1 kestrel
30 plus starling
5 blackbird
At least 3 mistle thrush nests along the trees at the far end of the playing feilds.

No house martin at all this year, uaually fly catching on the playing feilds.
And normally they nest and breed under eaves on wigan road, not seen one single bird this year.
