Birds around the site within GM today included 14 Wheatear, 3 Whinchat (2 Holdens and 2 Green Nook) and a Grasshopper Warbler at Green Nook. 62 Meadow Pipit SE over Dean Ditch but  a Nuthatch also went low SE. Small Swallow movement during the morning and early afternoon from Scout Rd amounted to 200+ and 11 Chiffchaff were around Walker Fold.

Cuckoo calling this morning in Holden's Plantation. Holden's Farm is being done up and, sadly, no Swallows were seen around the site, presumably because of the building activity. Quite a few Skylark at Two Lads Hill. Other birds seen were Blackcap, Willow Warbler, Stonechat, Ravens and Kestrel.
